Join Gray Rec for a Festival of Fitness! This unique class will give you the opportunity to try 4 different class formats and get a great sweat session in each week during the hectic holidays!
Total Body Circuit- Tue, 11/27
This class format will have 8 stations that will focus on cardio, core, upper body, and lower body. The pace of this class is perfect to start back up with your fitness regimen! Equipment such as medicine balls, step boxes, gliders and hand weights will be used.
Barre Bootcamp- Tue 12/4
This Barre inspired class will focus on strengthening and lengthening the muscles to increase tone using light weights. Equipment such as gliding discs, bender balls, and hand weights will be used.
BODYSHRED by Jillian Michaels - Tue 12/11
This class follows a 3-2-1 model. 3 minutes of strength, then 2 minutes of cardio, and 1 minute of abs. This set is repeated 4 times and you're done! This methodology keeps your body burning calories for almost 2 days after your 30 minute workout! Can't beat that!
Cardio Sport- Tue 12/18
This is the highest intensity of the series! This class has the feel of sports practices from High School- you remember, when exercise was fun! This class uses the methodology Cardio Sport, LLC has developed. Their strategy circles around a unique ‘in the game’ simulation training environment designed to train athletic minded participants of all ages – both their bodies and their minds.
- Please bring an exercise mat or towel and 3-8lb. hand weights if you have them
- Please wear athletic clothing and sneakers, carry sneakers in if bad weather
