LIT Camp MANDATORY Field Trips
This program is for those enrolled in LIT Camp 2018 ONLY.

All trips are mandatory in this listing if you are in attendance at camp on this day.

NO LUNCH PROVIDED ON ALL-DAY FIELD TRIP DAYS (please pack a cold lunch with ice packs and plenty of water!)

To avoid missing the bus, we require all campers to arrive at 8:00am on field trip days! Please note- the bus will NOT wait!

Some of these field trips do not require a fee to attend (LIT ONLY FIELD TRIPS), however, you MUST register for each and every field trip that you plan to attend. Failure to pre-register could result in not being able to attend. We must pre-book with venues and pre-order tickets!

General Information
  • We ask that all field trips be paid for at least 2 weeks prior to the field trip to help us plan in advance. Registration shuts down 1 week prior (unless otherwise noted).
  • All payments must be made online or in the Parks and Rec office (Staff cannot collect money/checks).
  • NO REFUNDS!!! SORRY-once registered for a field trip, we cannot refund money for any reason. We need to commit numbers to the venues/buses etc. weeks in advance. Please do not ask.
  • CAMPERS MUST WEAR A GRAY PARKS AND RECREATION 2018 LIT CAMP T-SHIRT ON ALL FIELD TRIPS IN WHICH WE RIDE A BUS! NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
  • We reserve the right to substitute any field trip for a comparable one of our choice.
  • We may cancel a field trip for any reason and issue you a credit to your account.
  • Campers cannot attend a field trip unless the field trip is paid for IN ADVANCE.
  • We reserve the right to prohibit any camper from attending a field trip due to inappropriate behavior or attire. A refund will NOT be given in this circumstance.
  • Campers arriving after a field trip has departed will only be allowed to participate if the person dropping off the camper is willing to meet up with the trip.
  • If you have missed the bus for a MANDATORY field trip, there are NO staff members available to stay with your child. ALL STAFF ATTEND MANDATORY FIELD TRIPS!
  • It is mandatory if you attend camp on an ALL DAY FIELD TRIP DAY that you attend the field trip.
