The Home Alone course is designed to help build confidence, emphasize safety issues, and prepare for the challenges associated with staying home alone for the first time.
Designed for 4th-6th graders, participants will talk about and find solutions to a variety of issues including safe internet and phone usage, stranger danger, and food preparation.
Basic first aid skills, identifying potential hazards, and what to do in an emergency will also be discussed. Participants will make a snack as part of the class.
